Patrick Block studied acting at Principia College and the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in NYC. When he first started pursuing acting professionally, he landed some interesting gigs: a wedding dinner-theater show on Long Island, an educational production of Moliere (done half in French) that traveled across the USA, an improv group that performed at summer camps, and a mask show for kids produced inside a huge cave, to name a few. In 2002, he co-founded Addled Minds, an acting group based in NYC. Some of his favorite roles have included Woodruff Gately in Pvt. Wars, Betty in Cloud 9, the bookseller in The Possibilities, and Buster Bins in Box of Fools at Here Arts Center. His classes utilize acting and improv exercises from Viola Spolin, Keith Johnstone, and Stella Adler.
