Patrick Block studied acting at Principia College and the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in NYC. When he first started pursuing acting professionally, he landed some interesting gigs: a wedding dinner-theater show on Long Island, an educational production of Moliere (done half in French) that traveled across the USA, an improv group that performed at summer camps, and a mask show for kids produced inside a huge cave, to name a few. In 2002, he co-founded Addled Minds, an acting group based in NYC. Some of his favorite roles have included Woodruff Gately in Pvt. Wars, Betty in Cloud 9, the bookseller in The Possibilities, and Buster Bins in Box of Fools at Here Arts Center. His classes utilize acting & improv exercises from Viola Spolin, Keith Johnstone, and Stella Adler.

Deanna Luster has co-directed/choreographed DHT’s Po’okela honored production of Titanic, directed/choreographed Manoa Valley Theatre’s Footloose, Hawaii Theatre Center’s Snow Queen & Wishes & Wings as well as a Po’okela for Choreography for Army Community Theatre’s Damn Yankees. Other choreography credits include Hawaii Theatre Center’s Christmas with Friends & Nabors, Hawaii Theatre for Youth, Sacred Heats, St. Andrews Priory and numerous Kaimuki High School Performing Arts productions including West Side Story, The Rocky Horror Show & South Pacific. She choreographs and teaches for the DHT Shooting Stars. Her performing credits include MVT’s Cabaret, numerous DHT shows such as Phantom, Cinderella, Carousel, Victor/Victoria and Follies, & Dreamgirls at Hawaii Theatre Center. Stage managed various DHT and KHSPAC shows. Deanna is also a certified Reiki Master, Integrative Quantum Medicine (IQM), Ancient Rainbow Conscious Healing (ARCH) Master Practitioner, graduate of Sacred Path Healing School, and Zena Rommett Floor-Barre Technique certified.
PHIL HIDALGO is a self-taught musician has been affiliated with the PACKids since 2012 as a Vocal Director and has served as accompanist for many school choirs from elementary to the university level throughout O‘ahu. Phil had also worked as rehearsal/performance accompanist in over 75 musical productions at Army Community Theatre, Manoa Valley Theatre, Diamond Head Theatre, Hawaii Pacific University and Hawaii Opera Theatre. His most recent appearance as Musical Director was in the acclaimed production of Sunset Boulevard and Showboat at DHT. Phil currently works as choral accompanist with the Hawai‘i Youth Opera Chorus, Sacred Hearts Academy, and the University of Hawai‘i Music Department. He is also an accomplished singer and member of Kawaiolaonapukanileo, a Hawaiian a cappella ensemble and has been performing onstage with the Hawaii Opera Theatre Chorus since 1992. Phil currently works as HYOC’s Educational Outreach Coordinator and is also the self-employed owner of PMH Studio where he has been doing t-shirt graphics since 1989.
Meagan Olson (PACK Director, Costume Designer & Stage Manager) originally helped create KCDC until she co-created PACK in 2005. Some recent shows she has directed are Seussical, School House Rock, Into the Woods, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. & Aladdin Jr. and FAME, Willy Wonka Junior, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pinkalicious and West Side Story. She has also designed costumes for all of PACK’s shows. Meagan is a local Stage Manager at many community theatres and costume designs for them as well. She is also one of the Artistic Directors or PACKids. She and her husband Steve have three talented children: Cameron, Hannah, and Tommy.
Rachelle Amparo (Artistic Director) performed throughout high school and college while pursuing her career in teaching theatre. She is a state certified and licensed Drama & Theatre teacher and has been teaching in the Hawaii DOE school system since 1997. Currently she teaches Acting, Theatre History and Film Analysis at Kapolei High School. She grew up in Hawaii and attended UH Manoa where she earned her Bachelor of Education degree in 1996 and Master of Arts Youth Theatre Degree in 2000. She co-created PACK in 2005 and since then has directed various shows, some of which are Romeo & Juliet, Little Shop of Horrors, The Wizard of Oz and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She and her husband Ross have three very delightful children: Austen, Cole and Danielle.

Leslie White- A trained competitive dancer since the age of five, studied in all genres and styles. She has traveled as an Instructor, choreographer, and judge starting at age sixteen through National Dance Alliance. From West coast to East coast and from breaking crews in the streets to High Class Dance Studios, Leslea continues to explore and teach with a vision to educate, challenge, and produce dancers with character, integrity and professionalism to shine in all environments.
She is currently teaching at Punahou, Kapolei High School, and Moments Unforgettable!

Thomas Olson has been dancing since he was 7 years old. He has been in numerous musicals across the state. He has trained and danced at Diamond Head Theatre, Punahou Senior Tap Company and The Movement Center. Thomas won a Po'okela for his performance as lead male in a Musical in Diamond Head Theaters production of White Christmas. In his senior year at Kapolei High School 2015 he was the Creative Dance and Social Dance Instructor. He was awarded dance scholarship to Oklahoma City University and currently studies Ballet, Tap, and Jazz as a Dance Performance Major in his Sophomore year.
Born and Raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu Elika is the Owner of LES Studios for 9 years where he teaches vocal performance to all ages. Elika is also an entertainer on board the Holland America Cruise lines where he performs his own solo shows around the world.
Lisa Shaw has been involved with theater since she was 10 years old, when she first fell in love with the works of Shakespeare. Raised on the Big Island, she began performing in high school, and then college--while pursuing a degree in Special Education. She loves children and recognizes the many benefits theater has to offer them. Part of the PACK family for the last 5 years, she teaches PACK’s summer intro to theater class, directs Shakespeare’s Junior Version, and currently sits on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. Lisa is also a freelance writer and proud mother to two talented girls, Juliette and Katherine, who have made mom love musical theater all the more!
